BestAssistedLiving.com Debuts to Help with One of Life's Biggest Challenges

Madison Ct -- September 3, 2009 -- One of life’s most painful journeys begins when the signs begin that an older person can no longer function safely on their own. Finding the right assisted living facility to meet their needs, and convincing them to make the move on a timely basis, are challenging for everyone involved. Fortunately a new website, www.BestAssistedLiving.com, has just been launched to help loved ones and seniors cope with these issues.

This new website provides a guide to over 400 high quality assisted living, nursing home, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) by state and town. It also features dozens of practical articles to help with the entire range of difficult issues that come up around assisted living. For example one article helps adult children discuss when it’s time to enter an assisted living facility with their parents Another provides extensive links to government and non-profit resources for help with aging issues as well as the selection of the right facility.

John Brady, President of "BestAssistedLiving - Find the Best Assisted Living Facility for Your Loved One", commented about the new site: "Helping an aging parent or relative move into assisted living is one of the most gut-wrenching processes in life. Our goal is to provide a quality resource to help people decide when assisted living is the right answer, and then to find the right facility for their particular situation”.

Visitors to BestAssistedLiving are invited to download a free eBook, “Practical Guide to Selecting Eldercare Facilities” to help get them started with this process. The book includes an Action Checklist as well as a list of the top 10 factors that must be considered.
